For one to capture the essence and wonder in Andrew Kiss' work, an appreciation of wildlife as well as knowledge of the man behind the paintbrush is essential. His paintings, while paying close attention to detail, also show the spirit and need for conservation of the wildlife he depicts.

Andrew's talent, recognized at a very young age, continue grow and improve over the years of dedication and practice with a number of mediums. Now painting strictly in oils, he has mastered the realism he strives towards. Time spent outdoors stretching and photographing his subjects enables Andrew to capture the essence of the animals and beauty of the landscape.

Born in Hungary in 1946, Andrew immigrated to Canada in 1956. Residing in Central British Columbia, he produces superb images that are admired and collected worldwide. Study trips have taken him to such places as Africa, Florida and other areas of the globe.

Andrew continues to attract attention internationally through one man shows and group exhibits.

With the support of his family and the public, he will continue his passion for painting. The many people he meets along the way who offer their appreciation for his talent, make the dream Andrew has devoted his life to worth every stroke of his paintbrush.
